If you can easily set who can enter when, for example, you can set your administrative staff to enter the building only from Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 18:00. Warehouse employees can only enter the warehouse, general areas and the canteen. And so you can set up an access group for each group of employees with different access rights.

No costs if keys are lost

Access control drop

If you can easily remove access control cards and tags, you need to be less vigilant in providing access to your staff. Where in your current policy you may not have given every employee a key, employees had to open the doors for each other. Or maybe you had to do that yourself. This takes time and will not be too motivating for your staff. This also creates unsafe situations. It often happens that around the beginning and end of the working day, the doors are temporarily kept open by placing a block or other obstacle between them so that not everyone needs a key. Situations like this can be easily avoided by installing an access control system with an electronic lock. You can choose the digital door entry systems  there.

User-friendly access control

A user-friendly access control system is characterized by the user Access control software. Also notice that access control is used. To open a door, people had to open the door in the past by means of the door handle. The only difference with access control systems is that one now has to offer a drop or pass before the lock can be opened. An important principle is that doors of common areas in walkways must be easy to use during office hours. The user-friendliness can be greatly increased by setting such doors in such a way that they are freely accessible during office hours and automatically lock outside office hours.

Less susceptible to fraud

In the explanation of the benefit at point 2, we already discussed how motivated your staff is if they cannot enter the company premises or site independently. With a good access system you are less wary because losing a pass does not mean that the entire mechanical locking system has to be replaced or that you will have the annoying underbelly feeling of a missing key in the near future. If everyone within the company immediately receives an access control drop on the first working day, this is enormously motivating. From now on, your employees can enter the company premises themselves within the frameworks set by you. It is immediately clear to everyone that this is the only way to go through the building and that logs are made when a certain entrance door is opened.

Opening doors with a mobile phone

The mobile phone is integrated in almost all modern access control systems for opening electronic door locks. The major advantage of a smartphone over an access control card, drop or user code is that someone will not lend his or her mobile phone to someone else quickly. As a result, access control with smartphone apps is in many cases less susceptible to fraud than systems with cards. Moreover, someone will not easily forget to bring a mobile phone. Losing and thus replacing access cards will also occur less often.
