With all the hype around apple cider vinegar and coconut oil, other natural DIY ingredients, like hydrogen peroxide, seem to have been sadly forgotten. This needs to be rectified, stat. 

There are many ways to use hydrogen peroxide around the home to save you time and money. Completely natural and completely underrated, this miracle liquid has a number of unknown solutions to offer.


1. Soak and say goodbye to bad bacteria

The quick rinse under the running tap really doesn’t do much in terms of removing gerems from our fruit and vegetables. What will work however, is a hydrogen peroxide soak. DIY by adding 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide to a sink full of cold water.

Hot Tip: for produce that is hyper-absorbent, soak a cloth with the above solution and gently wipe the dirt away.
